And yet much of what we get is driven by video images — whether it is the horror of the twin towers or the aftermath of a shooting. I am seeing a desperate need for those who are responsible for enforcing justice, for those reporting on it and those who make the laws that empower law enforcement to look beyond what the camera sees and consider the forces beyond those images.
