Hofstede died on February 12, 2020 at the age of 91. But in 2014 a group of the people he inspired put together a video about his life and his interpretation of the five cultural dimensions which are his legacy. He appears prominently in the video talking directly to the camera as do several other people who were important in his life.
Watching this one-hour video gave me new insights on how he came to do his groundbreaking research and how he saw the work which so many have lauded while others have criticized.
