Are You Stressing Over Stress?

It is my observation that the single most difficult thing about living in this world of COVID, environmental worries and polarized thinking is the stress we face. Neuroscientist Daniel Levitin delivered a TED Talk in which he explained why we do so many stupid things when we are highly stressed and how we might minimize our bad decisions.

Another interesting viewpoint about stress comes from health psychologist Kelly McGonigal whose TED Talk encourages people to embrace the stress that comes into our lives.

I am working on applying both Daniel’s and Kelly’s perspectives of handling stress. I like what they are doing for me.
